Përl
Le groupe Përl m’a contactée pour travailler à partir des photographies d’Anaïs Novembre, prises en Islande. L’objectif était d’y intégrer une présence spectrale, une forme de vie venant dialoguer avec ces paysages froids et monumentaux.
C’était une première pour moi : dessiner directement sur des photographies existantes.
Un défi technique et artistique qui m’a obligée à sortir de mon médium habituel, tout en conservant la cohérence de mon univers.
Après les premiers essais, l’équilibre entre photographie et dessin s’est imposé naturellement. Chaque morceau a été abordé avec une direction spécifique afin de prolonger l’identité sonore du groupe.
Sur Arcipelago, j’ai développé une approche plus organique et romantique, inspirée par la tension entre éléments naturels. Pour La Chute, j’ai proposé un univers plus urbain et architectural, influencé par les ambiances sombres de Tsutomu Nihei, un registre que j’explore plus rarement.
Le résultat est une fusion entre photographie et dessin, au service d’un univers musical singulier.
The band Përl contacted me to work with photographs by Anaïs Novembre, taken in Iceland. The goal was to integrate a spectral presence, a life form that would interact with these cold, monumental landscapes.
It was a first for me: drawing directly onto existing photographs. A technical and artistic challenge that forced me to step outside my usual medium, while maintaining the coherence of my artistic vision.
After the initial attempts, the balance between photography and drawing emerged naturally. Each track was approached with a specific direction to further develop the band’s sonic identity.
On Arcipelago, I developed a more organic and romantic approach, inspired by the tension between natural elements. For La Chute, I proposed a more urban and architectural world, influenced by the dark atmospheres of Tsutomu Nihei, a style I explore less frequently.
The result is a fusion of photography and drawing, serving a unique musical universe.
BRVME
BRVME est né de ma rencontre avec le compositeur Antoine Farrudja. Ce projet expérimental explore le lien intime entre musique et image, dans une approche avant tout sensorielle et instinctive.
La spontanéité et la sincérité guident notre processus créatif, où chaque son et chaque image se répondent pour créer une expérience immersive.
Après notre collaboration sur le court-métrage Intra, l’envie de continuer cette recherche s’est imposée comme une évidence.
BRVME was born from my encounter with composer Antoine Farrudja. This experimental project explores the intimate connection between music and image, using a primarily sensory and instinctive approach.
Spontaneity and sincerity guide our creative process, where each sound and image interact to create an immersive experience.
After our collaboration on the short film Intra, the desire to continue this research became obvious.

Avec le groupe The Great Old Ones, nous avons collaboré avec la photographe Solweig Wood pour concevoir une série de photos promotionnelles destinées aux affiches de concerts, publications presse et interviews.
Chaque image prolonge l’identité du groupe et traduit visuellement la force de leur univers musical.
